NYP: Going

VR Driving Simulator - Final Year Project

NYP: Going was done for my final year project. It is a VR driving simulator using steamVR, where the players get to drive around a realistically modelled Nanyang Polytechnic.

The game was made with realism in mind so we used Unity's High definition rendering pipeline, with post processing for this. Since for VR we are essentially rendering on 3 displays (2 for both eyes and the computer monitor), we had to employ many optimisation technics within Unity.

The game was made by a 4-men team. With 2 programmers and 2 artists

I handeled the AI traffic with traffic lights, the VR interactions for driving and the lighting and post-processing.
